Description
NH4AP stands for Ammonium Dihydrogen Phosphate. It is a widely used x-ray single crystal scintillator that is sensitive to both x-rays and gamma rays. NH4AP crystals are grown from aqueous solutions by slow evaporation method or solvent evaporation method. They have high light yield, good energy resolution, and are relatively inexpensive. NH4AP crystals are commonly used in x-ray diffraction experiments, as well as in various medical and industrial applications such as radiation detection and dosimetry.
