Single Crystals of A3B5 Group

The A3B5 group is a family of semiconductor crystal materials that includes compounds such as gallium arsenide (GaAs), indium phosphide (InP), and aluminum gallium arsenide (AlGaAs), among others. These materials are single crystals, which means that they are composed of a single crystal with a regular arrangement of atoms.

Single crystals in the A3B5 group have unique and ordered atomic structures, which give them unique physical properties such as high electron mobility, high carrier concentration, and direct bandgap. These properties make A3B5 group crystals useful in various applications, such as in high-speed electronics, optoelectronics, and solar cells.
